Dr. Patel is a family physician with a special interest in sports medicine. He received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, in 2003. Dr. Patel then completed his family medicine residency at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 2006.

Prior to relocating to Arizona and joining Saguaro Family Practice in 2009, Dr. Patel practiced family medicine and sports medicine in New York and New Jersey.

Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Society of Sports Medicine. He speaks fluent Gujarati (Indian) language.
